Press release – Rona Finland Oy – March 25th 2021
Rona Finland Completes Late Seed Round – closes 450K in seed financing in 12 months.
Cybersecurity communication solution provider, Rona Finland, has closed a late seed round, with investment and further financing provided by founders, existing investors and Business Finland, the Finnish Government agency which provides innovation funding to qualifying start-ups. The round brings the total investment raised in the past 12 months to just over €450,000.
The company’s Co-Founder, Oskari Räisanen, said that the new investment will be used for a combination of further development of the Rona ‘SOC In Your Pocket’ solution, customer acquisition and expansion into new markets. The Rona B2B solution enables corporates to engage their workforce in improving the company’s cybersecurity stance by both providing actionable, timely and relevant tips to reduce risk in the company’s digital operations as well as providing the company’s Security Operations Centre with an automated, secure and uncorrupted communication channel which significantly improves incident response and reduces the potential financial and operational impact of a serious cyber breach. It is anticipated that Rona Finland will be looking at an A round in late 2021.
